This time last week I was on day 2, yes it&#8217;s a 6 day week, and I found that towards the end of that day I was struggling quite a bit. Today I will find out if that was because I was getting used to a new routine or simply because humans are not supposed to live this way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1700. <\/strong>I get up exactly on schedule. I&#8217;ve been awake for a bit longer than this, there were a lot of people outside making noise so i&#8217;ve been drifting in and out of sleep for the past 2 hours. It is now time to get up though. I&#8217;m not feeling hungry so I just have water. I did have a fairly big breakfast and I&#8217;m not very active these days so probably don&#8217;t need to eat much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2000. <\/strong>I grab a huel to keep me going. This is the first nutrition of the day. I still wasn&#8217;t all that hungry, in fact I was more concerned with hydration than hunger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>0400.<\/strong> I am feeling noticeably sleepy. Not very tired but I  don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m functioning at peak performance. It feels like it&#8217;s going to be a long night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>0730. <\/strong>It&#8217;s breakfast (dinner?) time. I feel like it has been a somewhat long night. I&#8217;ve felt a little bit tired and would have preferred to go to bed, but staying up wasn&#8217;t all that difficult and I was able to keep functioning <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1000.<\/strong> I am really starting to fade. I just want to go to bed an sleep. I stay up and watch Dumb and Dumber because the greatest level of intellectual sophistication I can manage right now. It&#8217;s a real struggle to stay awake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1145. <\/strong>15 minutes early I call it a night and go to bed. Today, of the 19 hours awake I think the first 14 or 15 were available for productivity and the last 4 were not. So today my brain would have preferred a 24 hour day. I&#8217;m not quite sure why some days I can stay up longer and others I cannot.
